Our estate has been a family property since the end of the 18th century. It covers 23 hectares and is spread over 6 villages.
This particular distribution allows us to produce a complete range of Rhone Valley wines: Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Plan de Dieu, Côtes-du-Rhône and Vin de Pays de Vaucluse.
Based on our single plot of 1.6 hectare, we are supposedly the smallest Côtes-du Rhône Villages Plan de Dieu wine producer.
Our soils are almost entirely covered with rolled pebbles, the result of alluvial deposits dating from the Ice Age.
The average vines are over 40 years old, which guarantees a naturally low yield, highly conducive to the quality of the wines. Grenache predominates, complemented by Syrah. Hand-picking allows us to sort the grapes thoroughly.
The grapes are destemmed, lightly Crushed and then vinified traditionally in enamel-lined concrete vats.
The vatting period lasts about 2 weeks and we choose to mature our wines exclusively in vats to preserve their freshness.
The result of our work is our "Florentin" wine that can be drunk either young on the fruit or kept for another 5 years.
