Domaine des Banquettes
«Si le vin manque, il manque tout»
The farm is located at the foothill of Dentelles de Montmirail and Mont-Ventoux, halfway between Orange and Vaison-la-Romaine. It covers a total surface of 30 hectares spread over the villages of Rasteau (15 hectares), Violès (14 hectares) and Sablet (1 hectare).
The André family has worked as winemakers and cooperators since 1951, thus nurturing a true winegrowing tradition.
Based on this strong family experience, Patrice, one of the last children of the family, left his job as agricultural and public works mechanic in 2002. Instead he chose to follow his passion and started vinifying part of the family vines in his own cellar.
So was born the Domaine des Banquettes, which we invite you to discover.
