Domaine des Quayrades
The Domaine des Quayrades is located in Violès in front of the famous Dentelles de Montmirail.
Pampered by a generous sunshine in the heart of the land of cicadas, the farm extends over 54 hectares and seven villages.
A special know-how :
The estate has been handed down from father to son since 1905.
Each generation has contributed to the development of the farm by bringing in new visions and innovative approaches to wine-making.
Patrick and Grégory Latour (father and son) perpetuate the family's commitment to serious, authentic and environment-friendly work. The vineyards have been cultivated organically since 2012.
A diversified terroir:
In the Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Plan de Dieu area, the terroir is composed of rolled pebbles producing well-structured wines.
The Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes terroir is also composed of smooth pebbles.
The Côtes-du-Rhône plots are composed of clayey-limestone soils with some pebbled gravels.
Finally the PGI (Protected Geographical Indication).
